Studio Sessions:
Small group sessions (3–6 participants) are designed to help individuals grow their social confidence in a fun and supportive setting. Each 1-hour class provides opportunities to work on valuable skills:

-
Friendship Building – practicing ways to make and keep friends
-
Reading Social Cues – understanding body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions

Through guided activities, games, and real-time coaching, clients build the skills they need for positive social interactions at home, school, and in the community.

Confident Connections (PEERS®-Based Group)
(Online Social Skills Program for Teens)
Confident Connections is a structured, evidence-based social skills group designed to help teens build meaningful friendships and feel more confident navigating everyday social situations. This program is based on the PEERS® model and combines direct instruction, role play, and real-world practice.

Sessions are held in a supportive group setting and include both teen participation and a caregiver component to help reinforce skills at home.

Just like my other services, we focus on:
-
Making & Keeping Friends – learning how to enter conversations, find common interests, and build connections
-
Conversation Skills – practicing back-and-forth exchanges, humor, and staying on topic
-
Handling Social Challenges – navigating teasing, conflict, and rejection with confidence
-
Social Awareness – understanding social cues, peer dynamics, and appropriate responses

Each session is designed to be practical and relatable, giving teens tools they can immediately apply in their daily lives. Caregivers are guided on how to support and coach these skills outside of session to promote lasting progress.
.
One-on-one Coaching
(In-Person & Telehealth)
My one-on-one sessions are personalized to meet each client’s unique needs, interests, and learning style. Sessions take place in a comfortable, familiar environment—whether that’s at home via telehealth, the community or at our Simply Social Studio.

Just like my group sessions, I focus on:
-
Conversation Skills – practicing turn-taking, topic sharing, and asking questions
-
Positive Social Interactions – building skills that can be used with family, friends, and peers
-
Reading Social Cues – learning to understand body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice

Each session is designed to promote real-world practice and help your child carry these skills into everyday life. For some clients, this may mean working on foundational skills in preparation for future community integration, while for others, it’s about reinforcing and fine-tuning key skills already in progress.

Community Integration One-on-One Coaching
(Community-Based)
My community-based coaching sessions are tailored to support each client’s unique goals in real-life settings. These sessions vary in length depending on the client’s needs and the nature of the community activity or event being supported.

I focus on building confidence, independence, and meaningful social engagement through activities such as:
-
Social Communication – ordering food at a café, initiating conversation, or asking for help
-
Navigating the Community – using public transportation, reading schedules, or finding local resources
-
Self-Advocacy & Independence – speaking up while shopping, managing money, or making personal choices
-
Planning & Participation – attending movies, meetups, or new activities with support

These services are commonly funded through the Self-Determination Program (SDP) as part of a client's Person-Centered Plan. Private pay options are also available.

Whether we’re grabbing a smoothie, catching a bus, or helping plan a social event, each session is designed to support growth and real-world skill development in a way that’s practical and empowering.

These services support your child or young adult in learning how to navigate the world around them—like practicing communication skills at a the movie theater, bowling alley, grocery store, learning how to join in play at a park, or using coping tools in public. It’s all about building confidence in real-life settings!
